avodahAvodah

“As the Father sent me so I send you.”

Yeshua came as the Servant King, demonstrating God’s kingdom through words & works of love – healing the sick, setting the captives free, announcing the Good News of his Father’s kingdom. And He says, “As the Father sent me, so I send you.”

Vision

In Hebrew, avodah is the same word for worship and work – thus works and worship are interconnected. We therefore worship God by doing what He has commanded us to do – serving, loving and honoring each person we meet as an act of worship.  This is the heart and vision of Avodat IsraelWe invite you to come to Israel and make “avodah!”

Objectives

  • To journey to the land of Israel in praise of the God of Israel (Psalm 122:1-4).
  • To strengthen our connection to our Jewish roots and to the Jewish people (Rm.11:18).
  • To share  good news with Jews, Arabs, everyone and anyone – bringing the presence, power and love of God to all whom we meet (Lk.4:18).
  • To hasten the day when all Israel shall say, “Baruch haba b’Shem Adonai (Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord).” (Mt.23:39).
