Israel Defense Minister States Over 50% of Hamas Beaten

(Worthy News) – Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant declared on Monday that Hamas has no place where they can hide and highlighted that the Israel Defense Forces has killed or seriously injured over half of Hamas’s forces. Furthermore, Gallant pointed to the fact that the IDF has dismantled 18 out of terrorist organization’s 24 battalions.

Gallant reported that three out of four battalions in Khan Yunis have been dismantled, and the fourth, located in western Khan Yunis, is on the brink of collapse. He further stated that the IDF now has the capability to navigate rapidly across Gaza with minimal resistance.

Gallant asserted that the Gaza terror group’s leader, Yahya Sinwar, was on the run, disconnected from his fighters, and compelled to move between hideouts as the IDF relentlessly pursued him.

“Sinwar goes from hideout to hideout, and is unable to communicate with his surroundings,” Gallant said. “Sinwar does not lead the campaign, does not command the forces, he is busy with his personal survival. He turned from the head of Hamas into a fugitive terrorist, and IDF forces continue to pursue him.”

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu vowed that Israel would reach “complete victory” at a meeting of his Likud party faction at the Knesset.

“We will kill the Hamas leadership, so we must continue to operate in all areas in the Gaza Strip. We must not end the war before then. It will take time — months, not years,” Netanyahu stated.
