(Worthy News) – Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant stated that Israel is currently engaged in a multi-front war, being attacked from seven different sides. Gallant warned of a long, brutal war with a heavy price and stressed the need for national determination and unity in the coming months.
Gallant recently told the Knesset’s Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee, “We are in a multi-front war. We are being attacked from seven different arenas: Gaza, Lebanon, Syria, [the West Bank], Iraq, Yemen, and Iran.”
Gallant warned its enemies that Israel was ready to respond to any challenges it was going to face.
“We have already responded and acted in six of these areas, and I say here in the clearest way: Anyone who acts against us is a potential target; there is no immunity for anyone,” Gallant warned.
Gallant told the committee that the war would be “a long, hard war. It has costs — heavy costs — but its justification is the highest that can be.”
“The State of Israel will know what to do,” Gallant continued. “The security system is being prepared, the reality in which we are attacked, and we are restrained is correct according to our judgment, and the results in Gaza are seen and understood by everyone. Those who see them in particular are Hamas, Iran, and Hezbollah.”
Gallant emphasized the importance of achieving the objectives of the conflict, warning that failure to do so could lead to a scenario where the public’s confidence in their safety is undermined, stating, “The problem will be that people will not want to live in a place where we do not know how to protect them.”
Gallant emphasized the crucial role of national unity, strength, and resilience in overcoming challenges that Israel is facing.
“We need determination, endurance, strength, and national cohesion with the goals. It is a battle in which the one who survives is the one who is stronger at the national level, in its values, and in its unity. This is a battle of national determination, and I tell you that we will defeat Hamas,” Gallant concluded.
