VP Harris Condemns ‘Jesus is Lord’ Shouts (Video)

LA CROSSE, USA (Worthy News) – Vice President Kamala Harris lashed out at people shouting “Jesus is Lord” at a campaign rally ahead of upcoming presidential elections.

Harris was interrupted while speaking at the La Crosse Recreational Eagle Center in the U.S. battleground state of Wisconsin, Worthy News established Friday after reviewing footage and eyewitness accounts.

Thursday’s incident happened after Harris, the Democratic presidential nominee, expressed anger over the anti-abortion views of her Republican rival, Donald J. Trump.

She recalled that Trump, during his previous presidential term, selected “three members of the United States Supreme Court with the intention that they would undo the protections of Roe v. Wade,” the Court ruling that enabled abortions across the U.S. “And they did as he intended,” she added.

Harris paused about 20 minutes into her speech while several attendees were escorted out while shouting, “Jesus is Lord,” at those around her.

After Harris stopped her remarks, she tried to smile and waved at the believers, saying, “Oh, you guys are at the wrong rally. No, I think you meant to go to the smaller one down the street,” while supporters cheered and applauded for her.

JESUS IS LORD

While the crowds continued cheering, the “Jesus is Lord” protesters were shown toward the door, witnesses recalled.

Following the incident in La Crosse city, Christian online influencers quickly questioned Harris’s approach toward devoted Christians.

“This insult to Christians comes right after she became the first presidential candidate to skip the Catholic Al Smith Dinner since [Democratic Vice President] Walter Mondale many, many decades ago,” recalled Robby Starbuck, a Christian filmmaker and host.

“Mondale [who, like Harris, ran for president] “soon after lost EVERY state except for one,” he added on social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter.

Harris broke a longstanding tradition by not attending the Al Smith Dinner, a Catholic charity event former President Trump attended as the featured speaker.

Instead, Harris sent a recorded video in her place, appearing with the actress Molly Shannon as her Catholic schoolgirl character, Mary Katherine Gallagher.

ABSENCE RAISES CRITICISM

Her absence drew criticism and attention.

“Clearly, Kamala doesn’t respect Christians, our beliefs, and most importantly, our Savior. Every Christian needs to remember this when they vote and share this with their friends,” Starbuck stressed.

“On Election Day, let’s show politicians what happens when they treat Christianity like this.”

Janet Parshall, an American radio talk show host and author, agreed. “Somebody better tell the ‘evangelicals for Harris’ group…who she really is…”

The controversy comes as opinion polls show a slight lead for Donald J. Trump ahead of the November 5 presidential elections.
