Trump Shows Strong Support for Israel During First Days of Administration

by Emmitt Barry, Worthy News Correspondent

(Worthy News) – In a series of bold moves, President Trump has shown his strong support for Israel in the early days of his administration, working to strengthen U.S.-Israel relations and enhance Israel’s security and sovereignty through a series of executive orders and the releasing of military aid to the Jewish state.

Among the first moves was the Trump administration releasing 1,800 MK-84 bunker-buster bombs to Israel, ensuring the nation had the necessary resources to defend itself in an increasingly tense regional environment.

The Trump administration also backed Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) operations in Lebanon, permitting them to stay beyond the 60-day limit set in a prior ceasefire agreement. This action reinforces the U.S.’s commitment to Israel’s security and highlights Trump’s willingness to support Israeli military actions, even when they conflict with international agreements.

Trump also took a significant step in the Middle East last week by officially labeling the Houthis as a terrorist organization. This designation is aimed at countering the group’s growing influence in Yemen and is part of a broader effort to isolate Iran, which has been providing support to the Houthis.

Last week, the Trump administration, through an executive order, lifted economic sanctions on Israeli settlers in Judea and Samaria, a decision that has sparked both support and opposition.

President Trump will also sign an executive order to deport Hamas supporters in the U.S. on student visas. This directive directly targets individuals affiliated with terrorist organizations, signaling a firmer stance on both national security and immigration policy.
