(Worthy News) – Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei on Monday called for closer cooperation between Iran and Pakistan in confronting Israel, praising Islamabad’s firm stance on the Palestinian issue and highlighting the importance of unity among Muslim nations.
“Effective, joint efforts by Iran and Pakistan are necessary to stop the Zionist regime’s crimes in Gaza,” Khamenei posted on X, formerly Twitter. “The Palestinian issue is the most important issue in the Islamic world.”
Khamenei lauded Pakistan for resisting international pressure to normalize relations with Israel. “There have always been inducements for Islamic countries to establish ties with the Zionist regime, [but] Pakistan has never been influenced by those inducements,” he said.
“The only way to ensure the security of the Islamic Ummah is the unity of Muslim nations,” he added.
Pakistan is the only Muslim-majority country in the world known to possess nuclear weapons. Its strategic position and military capabilities have long made it a key player in the Islamic world. Khamenei’s remarks appear to signal a desire for deeper alignment with Pakistan in both political and security matters amid growing tensions in Gaza and shifting alliances in the Middle East.
Relations between Iran and Pakistan have always been warm and brotherly. Pakistan’s commendable stance during Saddam’s imposed war on Iran is a clear example of these brotherly relations.

At a time when the warmongers in the world have numerous motives for creating conflicts and wars, the only way to ensure the security of the Islamic Ummah is the unity of Muslim nations.

Conditions in #Gaza have deteriorated to such an extent that people in Europe and the US are holding protests against their governments. But in these same circumstances, some Muslim governments are standing with the Zionist regime.
