Israel Expands Offensive In Lebanon Despite Warnings From Iran

BEIRUT/TEHRAN/JERUSALEM (Worthy News) – Israel’s military expanded its offensive against Iran-backed Hezbollah on Tuesday with troops moving into a new zone in southwest Lebanon, despite new warnings from Iran.

Exchanges of fire began with Hezbollah, deemed a terrorist organization by Israel, on the first anniversary of the group’s launch of major attacks against Israel.

It happened as Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Aragchi warned Israel that any attacks on the Islamic Republic’s infrastructure would be met with retaliation.

Tuesday’s warning came a week after Tehran fired a barrage of missiles on the Jewish nation, hitting some Israeli military installations and putting the Middle East on edge.

However, amid the destruction, God watches over believers loving the Jewish nation, noted Gospel singer Baht Rivka Whitten, who lives in Israel. “Friends of us discovered fragments of an Iranian missile near our home, but nobody was hurt,” said the singer, who has written numerous songs about the Jewish nation.

Worthy News obtained footage showing her friends posing for an apparent rocket in the Negev area.

While one Palestinian was killed in Jericho, there were no other reports of deaths despite the more than 200 rockets fired by Iran last week.

Araqchi will visit Saudi Arabia and other countries in the Middle East starting on Tuesday to discuss regional issues and work on stopping Israel’s “crimes” in Gaza and Lebanon, Iran’s state-run media reported.

The United Nations has pleaded for a diplomatic solution.
