Ex-First Lady Trump Says God Saved Her Husband For A Purpose

NEW YORK, USA (Worthy News) – U.S. Former First Lady Melania Trump said Tuesday that she feels that God has a purpose for her husband, former President Donald J. Trump, after he survived two assassination attempts amid hateful rhetoric.

However, she cautioned that the 2024 election cycle is “more dangerous” than previous campaigns after two different people tried to kill her spouse, which also impacted her life.

“It’s much more dangerous, and I am very vigilant and very selective where I go. What do I do, because you never know. It’s one person, and it’s very dangerous out there,” she told the Fox & Friends television program on Tuesday.

The stylishly dressed Melania Trump, a former Slovenia-born fashion model, said she tells her husband daily, “Good luck and be safe.”

She made clear that the attempts on the life of her husband and hate speech showed that “You never know what kind of phone call you will receive and what can happen in life. Life is fragile, and we need to enjoy it every day.”

Asked what she thought of the left’s attempts to paint Trump as Nazi Germany’s leader Adolf Hitler, the former first said: “He is not Hitler, and his supporters stand behind him because they want to see our country successful. We see what kind of support he has.”

GOD’S PURPOSE

She also suggested that after he survived recent assassination attempts, including one when a bullet pierced his ear, faith in God has become more important.

“Do you feel like God has a purpose for him?” Fox News television host Ainsley Earhardt asked. “Yes, yes,” Melania agreed.

In her appearance, the former First Lady also discussed protecting the next generation of children and her latest book “Melania” about her time at the White House and beyond.

She also took questions from audience members, including one on how she reconciles her “pro-choice” views on abortion with those of her husband.

“My husband knew my position, my belief, since the first day we met. So it was not a big surprise to him. I guess the world didn’t know where my stance was [on abortion], “the former first lady explained.

“But he wasn’t surprised at all. He knew about it. In my book, I really explain what it means to have a say over my own body. It‘s my choice. It’s not one way only, right?”

Her husband played a crucial role inappointing conservative judges at the U.S. Supreme Court who overturned the 1973 Roe v. Wade ruling that enabled abortion nationwide. Donald J. Trump has since said it’s up to individual states to decide on the issue.
